Product Description
OPGW or Composite Optical Ground Wire is a type of optical cable used in transmission line construction. Also known as fiber optic composite overhead ground wire. It can be used not only as grounding wire, shielding wire, but also as communication cable. Mainly used in the power industry, OPGW is placed on top of transmission line pylons, it protects all important conductors from lightning strikes, and at the same time provides communication paths for internal and third-party communications.
