OPGW optical cable is mainly used for high-voltage lines above 110KV. Due to the need for power outages and safety impacts when laying lines, it is mostly used for new lines.
The Application Of Opgw:
(1) It is easy to maintain, easy to solve the problem of crossing the line, and its mechanical characteristics can meet the large crossing line;
(2) The outer layer of OPGW is metal armor, which has no effect on high-voltage electrical corrosion and degradation;
(3) OPGW must be powered off during construction, and the power loss is large. OPGW should be used for new high-voltage lines;

- The fibers are well protected mechanically and thermally, use stainless steel pipe water blocking gel to provide protection;
- The diameter of OPGW optical cable is small, and the load pressure on the tower is small;
- Excellent lateral pressure resistance and outstanding short-circuit current capacity;
